"Summer lovin' had me a blast summer lovin' happened so fast I met a girl crazy for me, met a boy cute as can be" I sighed happily wondering if I would have a summer romance. This year I was going to meet my new step mothers sister and children. Burt couldn't make it because he was working and Finn was helping him out.
Carol glanced over to me from the driving seat "why so smiley, Kurt?" she asked
I blushed a little "oh no reason", I lied Carol gave me a knowing look and I blushed even more "I want a summer romance" I admitted
Carol smiled "that's sweet, maybe it will happen there is a all boys school near my sister's house lot's of gay kids go there because they have a no bulling rule that's very effective"
I frowned suspiciously "how do you know about it?"
"oh, me and your dad thought about sending you there"
I was a little taken back by this. I knew that when things got bad for me earlier this year they had considered this, but in the end there was no where I could go. I told then I would be fine in the end and that I wasn't going anywhere.

I was at a loss. There was officially nothing to do. It was the first week of the summer holidays and there was officially nothing to do. I grabbed my phone off the side and threw myself on my bed. I laid on my back and sent out a mass text to my friends

I sighed I was alone, I was single and alone. Suddenly my phone started to ring I dropped it jumping and it smacked me right in the face. I looked at the caller ID and it was Wes. I sighed and answered it
"Hey Blaniey, so your all lonely" he said in a stupid tone
I sighed "yes I am, you said we would hang out this summer were only three days in and your already ditching me for some girl" I moaned
"Not just some girl Blaine Stacy Montonly"
I sighed "you do know she's only dating you for your money"
"I don't care, it's Stacy Montonly", said Wes I sighed again "you're doing that allot, it's like your deflating"
"Whatever" I snapped not really caring
"Blaine stop being snappy, you really need a boyfriend" Wes said
I rolled my eye's "for god sake not this again" I had been through this a million times before. Wes and David were always trying to set me up with people. For a while I went along with it. What I didn't think was, well any of it. Wes and David had terrible taste in men.
"Oh I know", said Wes sounding as if an imaginary light bulb just appeared above his head "what about Thad"
"For the last time I don't want to date Thad"
"Why not", said Wes sounding cress fallen "he's kind, smart, good looking and bi sexual"
I sighed again; I really did feel like I was deflating "well then you date him"
"I don't swing that way, why don't you want to date Thad" he asked
I sat up getting really fed up of this conversation "because Thad will date anyone with a pulse, I want someone special someone who will make me feel special"
"Blaine, that's sweet but you're a teenager you're not meant to care about that stuff" said Wes as if he had it all figured out
"BLAINE" I heard my mum yell from down stairs
"I have to go my mum wants me, bye" I said before quickly hanging up, I was getting a little sick of Wes and his inability to leave my love life alone.

I put my phone back on my desk and walked down stairs in pursuit of my mum. She was stood at the door pulling her coat on
"Were you going?" I asked
"I have some errands to run, can you pick your sister up from Kyle's house and then look after her for a while please?" she asked
I smiled "sure, haven't got anything else to do" I said with a sigh
"ok hears some money I promised if she was good that you would take her out to eat so make sure that she was good first", she handed me the money "ok love you" she said before rushing out of the door .I pulled my coat and followed just minuet's later

We pulled up outside and I suddenly felt panicked. What if they don't like me?
"Ok hear we are" said carol as she got out of the car. I took a deep breath as i did the same thing. The house was big and beautiful. It was white with a classic white picket fence.
"This is where you grew up?" I asked
Carol nodded "I loved this place, obviously my sister did too when my parents died she moved in" she said with a smile. I smiled to her forgetting the panic. Carol walked through the fence me closely behind. We came to a knocker; however carol ignored it and just walked in.
"Katelyn, were hear" shouted Carol I heard 2 set's of squeals from one direction and 3 people came running.
"Oh is that Kurt, he's just as gorges as you described him" she said embracing Carol and then me
I smiled as she looked at me "hi" I said not knowing what else I could say
I felt something clinging on to the back of my leg. I jumped and looked down there was a young girl there she looked up at me. She has mouse brown hair and blue eye's she couldn't have been older than 3.
"That's Marina my youngest", said Carols sister leaning over and scoping her up "mim, say hello to Kurt, your new cousin" Your new cousin I smiled at that.
"Give her hear Katelyn, I haven't seen her since before the wedding" she said holding her arms out. Katelyn handed the small girl she attached herself to Carol and buried her face into her hair odiously shy. I smiled at her thinking she was adorable.
"I'm so sorry I didn't make it to the wedding, we were all full of flu, I have watched the tape about 20 times already it's all so beautiful and don't those children have amazing voices", she said Carol smiled proudly and then gave me a thankful look "that son of yours is turning out amazingly" she continued and then she looked back at me and smiled.
"Mommy, why is everyone stood in hear?" came a small voice from behind Katelyn she turned around to reveal a small boy with the same eye's off Marina he was about 5 or 6 with messy brown hair and a dopey look of his face, a little like Finn's.
"Well were all going to living room now, sweetie" she replied the boy looked at me and frowned in a questioning manor then he spotted Carol and grinned
"AUNTY CAROL" he said running over to her and hugging her Carol scooped him un with her free arm and then let him down.
"Kyle say hello to Kurt, he's your new cousin" said Katelyn.
Kyle turned to me and looked me up and down. Weirdly it felt slightly intimidating "hello, you don't look like Finn mommy says your his new brother, I thought you would be like Marina when mommy said I was having a sister and she was a baby but your bigger than me" he said sounding confused. I smiled
"hello, Kyle it's nice to meet you" I said not really knowing what else to say Carol and her sister laughed almost identically.  

We all sat down in the living room. Kyle sat on the floor laid with mat he was slashing paint about happily
"Kyle where's Katharine, her brother will be here to pick her up anytime soon" asked my new Aunt Katelyn as I was told to call her.
"She's in the garden playing with the ball" he said not sounding very interested
Katelyn looked confused "why don't you invite her in to play paints with you"
Kyle shrugged and went out to get the little girl. A moment later he came in with a small girl with long brown curly hair and big brow eye's. She looked at me and smiled
"Hello Kurtsy" she said
I laughed "hello Katharine, are you Kyle's friend?" I asked
The little girl nodded flashing her teeth at me showing gaps, it was adorable. "Kurtsy are you playing pain with me and Kyle?" she asked
I shrugged "why not" I said before kneeling down and picking up a small paint brush.
Carol laughed and turned to her sister "ok shall we leave the kids too it then"

I came up to the door and knocked on the door. I had picked up Katharine from Kyle's house many a time. Kyle's mom and dad were kind people. They always invited me in and feed me stuff, a little weird but welcoming. They were nice people. I rang the doorbell and stepped back. It was only a few seconds when I heard yelling.
"Kyle that will be Katharine's brother get the door please" Said who I assumed to be Kyle's mom Katelyn
A small boy covered in pain answered the door he smiled at me "hello Blaine" he said he had green pain on his face making him look weird, like so sort of alien.
"Hello Kyle, playing with paints?" I asked
The boy nodded franticly "Yes it's awesome, Kurt's hear with aunty Carol and he's a good painter and he showed me how to paint without them going all watery and he painted Katharine and it's so cool like a real artist" he said so fast I could barley register it
"Kurt?" I said not recognising the name
Kyle nodded "he's my new cousin"
I thought back to when I last met Finn. He had told me about his soon to be step brother Kurt.

"So what's he like?" I asked we were playing video games at my house while my sister and his cousin played in the garden
"he's nice enough, I feel a little bad for him thought" he said
I glanced at him "why?"
Finn sighed and paused the game he turned to me "he just seems so.....lonely and distance, like he's lost in thought", I frowned "he's been that way since his dad went into a coma, but he's fine now"
"do you know why" I asked
Finn shrugged "maybe he's feeling alone, I would if I was in his shoes"
I frowned "you mean with his dad?" I asked
"no, he's the only out gay kid at our school ,can you imagine what that would be like, It would be so lonely"
Blaine nodded "yeah, been there"  he said with a sigh
Finn paused looking shocked "wait you mean..." he said
Blaine laughed and nodded "not a problem is it"
Finn shook his head "no of core not, I thought you may be but I didn't want to assume anything and get it wrong"
Blaine shrugged and they went back to the game.

He hadn't really thought much about it.
"Can you go get Katherine, please" he asked
Kyle smiled and with one paint covered hand he grabbed his hand "I want you to meet Kurt" he said
"Why?" I asked confused
"Because Mommy said that Kurt kisses boys instead of girls and Kathy says you kiss boys too" he said as if it was the most logical thing in the world
Blaine shrugged and he was pulled into the living room by Kyle "so?"
"I thought you and Kurt could be boy friends" he said
Blaine's eyes widened in shock the he heard a little giggle from across the room. Blaine's head snapped up to a porcelain skinned boy. He smiled at me his lips shining.
"Well you must be the amazing brother I just have to meet, these too have not stopped singing your parses for about an hour now" his voice was surprisingly high but it suited him

Blaine blushed but smiled, his eyes were lit up they were a beautiful brown colour with golden specks. They were beautiful, he was beautiful. I looked away not knowing what to say.
"Mommy promised we could go out for lunch" said Katharine walking over to Blaine
Blaine smiled down at his little sister "I think you need to get cleaned up first princess , why don't you go ask Kyle's mommy if she will let you use the bathroom to clean some of that paint of,"
Katharine nodded and ran of Kyle in pursuit "I want to go out for lunch too, mommy can I go to lunch with Blaine and Katharine?" he moaned
I smiled a little to myself and started to clean up the paint's. I felt Blaine eyes on my and blushed, I looked up to him.
He smiled and I smiled back "want some help?" he offered walking over and starting to clear up the paint's before I could answer. I reached out to pick up the red paint pot and Blaine did the same. Are hand touched and I froze but Blaine looked at it and then held it entwining our fingers. He smiled at me then looked down at them. I did as well it was so out of the blue and spontaneous... but I liked it.... I liked him...and I think he liked me back.
